Dr. Marc Liechtung graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of the world’s most renowned dental schools, in 1986, and was accepted to one of the best dental fellowship programs in the country.
After graduation, he attended an Advanced Restorative and Implant fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from that fellowship in 1987. Dr. Liechtung is dedicated to each of his patients’ dental needs and believes in treating each of his patients on an individual basis because needs and treatment differ from person to person. His interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry led him to invent the Snap-On Smile multi-purpose restorative appliance in 2004, and subsequently patented the appliance in 2008. Dr. Liechtung has changed thousands of lives by creating a convenient and pain-free appliance. In addition to his thriving practice, he travels both domestically and internationally, giving lectures about the Snap-On Smile appliance and its indications for use in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
